BROMYARD suffered a heavy loss in Worcestershire County League Division Two.

The Flaggoners Green side went down by 245 runs to Coombs Wood that leaves them looking over their shoulder at the foot of the division.

Coombs Wood posted a huge 413-8 off their 50 overs, with Mike Langford and Carl Whyte both scoring centuries.

Bromyard were then bowled out for 168; James Owens top scoring with 36.

In the same division, Wormelow lost by eight wickets to Redditch in a ran-affected match.

Lachlan Hartley fell one short run of hitting a century as Wormelow finished their innings on 173-9.

Redditch were then set a much reduced target, which they achieved.

The Division Three derby match between Ross-on-Wye and Bartestree & Lugwardine was abandoned.

Only 20 overs were possible, with Bartestree posting 83-5.
