BOTH Brockhampton and Eastnor saw their latest Birmingham & District Premier Cricket League matches abandoned due to heavy rain.
Brockhampton had bowled Sutton Coldfield out for 129 in their Division One game and would have fancied their chances of gaining a much-needed win to kick-start their season.
But only 16.2 overs were played, with Brockhampton at 57-3, before the match was brought to a premature halt.
Adam Hewlett was the pick of Brockhampton's bowlers, taking 3-19, while Jamie McIlroy, Nicholas Powell, Callum Stewart, Senuran Muthusamy and Dominic Badger all chipped in with wickets.
Ryan Tongue went for a duck when Brockhampton were put into bat before Hewlett went for 24.
Muthusamy was next to go for just two before the game was abandoned.
In Division Three, Only Arshad Hussain, Atiq Ur Rehman and Shahid Ahmed got into double figures as Eastnor could only make 119 against Worfield.
But Worfield only faced three overs before the heavens opened and the match was called off.
Ahmed did take a wicket though, removing Dan Plank for 12 as Worfield finished on 15-1.
