BROMYARD Town Football Club have announced a new management team following the departure of Nick Smith.

Graham Glenister and Luke Shuttleworth are the new boys at Delahay Meadow.

Glenister, a golf professional at Ombersley Golf Club, and Shuttleworth, a football coach currently taking his UEFA B licence, have been running the under 21's at Stourport Swifts for the last two years. In their last season, Swifts finished joint top of the Midland Under 21 League, only losing to Bedworth on goal difference. G

Glenister said "I'm absolutely delighted to be joining Bromyard Town, the Chairman and board of directors have been fantastic during our discussions.

"We have a good nucleus of young talent we intend to bring with us, but at the same time will welcome any local committed and hungry players capable of competing in the West Midlands (Regional) League. The timing is perfect for us because our group of players are ready to step up to first team football.

"Luke is an excellent coach and will double up as our centre half.

"We've worked together for a good many years now through youth and under-21 football and have a great relationship.

"We will begin pre-season training toward the end of June.

"Usually at this time of year we can't wait to hang the boots up and have a break but right now we're really excited about the set up at Bromyard and getting stuck in.

"It would be great to get people in the town down to watch us and talking about a good style and standard of football."
