SPINNERS Weehan Joubert and Mike King took the bowling honours as Colwall beat the showers to move four points clear at the top of Division One of the Worcestershire County League with a decisive six-wicket victory over Old Swinford and Stourbridge SC.

South AfricanJoubert, returning to the club after taking 47 wickets in the league two seasons ago, proved almost unplayable as he took 5-17 with his left-arm spin.Meanwhile off-spinner King, also rejoining the Stowe Lane side after a spell in the West of England League, claimed 3-9 from nine tight overs as Old Swinford were bowled out for just 69.

Colwall reached their target with comparative ease despite a couple of rain breaks.

Burghill, Tillington & Weobley drew against Pedmore, with Cameron McNaught finishing unbeaten on 79.
