CORY Hyde scored four goals as Pegasus Juniors thrashed Bromyard Town 8-1 to leave Nick Smith's side in serious relegation trouble.

Bromyard are now second from bottom in West Midlands (Regional) League Premier Division thanks to Wellington Amateurs' 1-0 win against Willenhall Town.

And the two sides square off in a mouth-watering clash next Thursday in Town's penultimate game of the season.

But Wellington Amateurs have a game in hand and complete their season on May 10 - three days after Bromyard.

Bromyard even took the lead thanks to Will Carey in the second minute, but Pegasus equalised straight away through Hyde.

The same player then put the home side ahead after 11 minutes before he completed a remarkable hat-trick after 22.

Just three minutes later and Hyde was on target again to make it 4-1 and Luke Griffiths added a fifth just after 31 minutes.

Pegasus had to wait until the 56th minute before adding another goal before Danny Price made it 7-1 11 minutes later.

Stuart Jones sealed Bromyard's fate four minutes from time with Pegasus' eighth goal.

Pegasus remain in 10th position in the division.
