HEREFORDSHIRE FA hosted the county's first ever walking football tournament.
Hereford Scrumpy Boys and Hereford Un-Athletic took part in the event, which was held at Hereford Leisure Centre, along with a team from Ross-on-Wye.
The Uxbridge Amblers from Middlesex also took part. They are a high profile club within the sport who brought two teams to Herefordshire.
Tom Mason, from Herefordshire, FA said: "It's great to see so many people involved in walking football, an event like this is a big step towards the sport growing within the county."
Walking football, known as "the beautiful game at a slower pace", is aimed at keeping people aged over 50 involved with football if, for whatever reason, they are not able to play the traditional game.
The sport can be played both indoors and outdoors.
It began life in Chesterfield, Derbyshire in 2011 before featuring in a national BBC Sport bulletin in Bury the following year.
Last October, FA affiliated leagues were set up in Cheshire and Derbyshire.
