LUCTONIANS and Hereford both gained excellent wins against Chester and Bournville respectively today.
Lucs just about held on to beat Chester 27-25 after leading 24-0 at half-time, while Hereford scored eight tries to stun high-fliers Bournville in Midlands 1 West.
Elsewhere, Ledbury lost to Midlands 3 West (South) leaders Evesham 23-8, Bromyard narrowly beat Aldridge 24-21 in Midlands 4 West (North), Greyhound edged past Tenbury 20-17 in Midlands 5 West (North) and Ross-on-Wye went down 38-10 to Spartans (Gloucester) in Gloucester 2.
