HEREFORD FC could take another step to Wembley today when they host Haughmond in the second round of the FA Vase.

Pete Beadle's side, who have won their last 18 games in all competitions, are odds-on favourites to win the game against their Shrewsbury-based opponents, who are second in the West Midlands (Regional) League Premier Division table.

One player who will not be in part of the squad will be Nathan Summers after the centre-back agreed to join Southern Football League Premier Division side Frome Town.

Westfields face a crucial Midland Football League Premier Division game away at Bardon Hill.

Sean Edwards' side - who brought forward the game due to their scheduled opponents Coventry Sphinx being in FA Vase action today - claimed an excellent 4-0 win against Loughborough University last week, only to lose to Alvechurch three days later.

Ben Miller, who scored his first goal for Westfields last week, is unavailable for the game.

Pegasus Juniors will be looking for three points at home to Wolverhampton Sporting Community in the West Midlands (Regional) League Premier Division, while Wellington, who drew 1-1 against bottom club Tipton Town last week, are away to Willenhall Town.

Bromyard Town face a daunting trip to AFC Bridgnorth.

There is a vital game at the County Ground when Lads Club entertain table-toppers AFC Ludlow.

Lads Club are second in the division, 10 points behind their south Shropshire opponents, but have three games in hand.

Elsewhere int he league, Bartestree go to FC Stafford, while Kington Town entertain Bustleholme.
