David Steele will be talking about his career at Hereford Rowing Club this Thursday
FORMER BBC Sports Personality of the Year David Steele will be talking about his glittering career at an event organised by Herefordshire Cricket Society this Thursday.
Steele won the award in 1975 following a successful display against Australia and was named as one of the Wisden Cricketers of the Year a year later.
The 74-year-old, who starred in county cricket for Northamptonshire and Derbyshire, will be at the Rowing Club.
Guests are asked to pay £5 upon arrival at 7.15pm, with the talk getting underway at 7.30pm.
