A TREMENDOUS fightback by Westfields Reserves saw them come out on top during a nine-goal thriller at Leominster Town.

The young city side found themselves 4-1 down but fought back to win 5-4 and record their three consecutive win in all competitions under new managers Nobby McBride and Paul Boulton.

A brace from Ashley Griffiths, plus a goal each from Jack Brazier and Nathan White, looked to have put Leominster in control.

But a Jordan Evans double, plus strikes from Gareth Williams-Howells, Rhys Williams and substitute Tom Bayliss saw Westfields home.

Elsewhere in the Premier Division, strikes from Fownhope's Paul Jenkins and Elliott Jones weren't enough to prevent runaway league, Tenbury United, record another victory.

The 3-2 defeat sees Fownhope in third place, just ahead of Ewyas Harold who were thankful to Shaune Smith for being on target in a 1-1 draw at Lads Club Reserves.

Substitute Kristian Morgan scored for Orleton Colts who came out on top in a five-goal thriller at Hinton.

Jake Goode and Martyn Jones were also on the scoresheet for the north Herefordshire club, while Brad Matthews and Neil Walmsley scored Hinton's goals.

In Division One, Tupsley AFC remain bottom after slipping to a 4-1 home defeat to Sinkum.

Kingstone Harriers won the mid-table battle at Orleton Colts Reserves 2-0, while Bromyard picked up their first league win of the season with a 2-1 victory at Belmont Wanderers.

Mark Corbett and William Tolley scored for Bromyard, with Wanderers goal coming from Greg Charlton.

The Hereford Times Herefordshire Football League Team of the Week award goes to Division Two side Weobley for their 2-0 win at previously undefeated Hereford City.

Elsewhere in the division there were two big wins as Leominster Town Colts beat Burghill 7-1 thanks to a Tommy Murphy hat-trick and goals from Matt Strangwood, Tori Williams, Nathan Coles, and substitute Joe Ferguson.

Bartestree Reserves were also in fine form recording a 6-1 win over Withington, whose solitary strike came from Anthony Parkinson.
