FOWNHOPE are this week's Hereford Times Herefordshire Football League team of the week following an excellent win at reigning champions Ewyas Harold on Tuesday night.

Goals from James Fussell and Ryan Rowlett sealed the win for Fownhope, with Matthew Norton replaying for Ewyas Harold.

The result follows an impressive 3-3 draw for Fownhope at Orleton Colts.

Rowlett was again on target, with Elliot Jones and Philip Spencer adding the other goals for Fownhopre.

Fownhope are now third in the Premier Division, two points behind Leominster Town and three adrift of leaders Wellington Reserves.

Wellington enjoyed a 4-2 home win against Lads Club Reserves on Tuesday night thanks to a hat-trick from Ryan Daw.

Nick Britton, who scored twice for Wellington in a 4-2 in against Leominster last Saturday, was also on target.

Leominster bounced back from that defeat by thrashing rivals Orleton Colts 4-1.

Ashley Griffiths and Mark Rusling both netted twice in the comfortable win.

Lenbury Town bounced back from a 3-2 reverse at Tenbury Town by beating Hinton 3-1.

Hinton went into the game after drawing 3-3 against Ewyas Harold last Saturday.

Darren Minnett, Kyle New and Lewis Davies scored for Hinton, with Harold's goals coming from Owen Lloyd, William Lindesay and Shaune Smith.

Martin Loveridge and Scott Roberts were on target for Ledbury against Tenbury, but it was not enough as goals from Mike Foster, Aaron Morris and Dale Withers earned Tenbury the win. The other match on Saturday saw Pegasus Reserves beat Lads Club Reserves 4-2.

Ross Powell, James Rouse, Ruairdh Wood and Ricky Jones all scored for Pegasus, with Lads Club's goals coming from Scott Jones and Clive Symonds.

Divisions One and Two kick off this Saturday.

Division Three champions Tupsley start life in Division One with a home tie against Fownhope Reserves, while Tenbury Town, who won Division Two, travel to Ewyas Harold Reserves. Division Two sees new team Withington go to Burghill, who played under the name of Northwood Rangers last season.
