LADS Club overcame a debatable early penalty decision to gain a 4-3 win over Penncroft in Division One of the West Midlands League.

Steve Bell was deemed to have brought down striker Josh Carvel and the visitors scored from the spot-kick.

A long-range shot by Jordan Burke levelled things up for the city side but Penncroft hit back to regain the lead again.

Lads Club equalised once again, however, when player-manager Danny Moon headed home.

After Penncroft had gone in front for a third time, Matt Maturi and Gareth Bowley were involved in a move which saw James Fennessy cut in to finish in the corner of the net.

And it was Fennessy who bagged the winner, heading in after Steve Dixon had lobbed the ball over the keeper.

Bromyard remain at the head of the table despite being held 2-2 at home by Wem Town.

But Bartestree have slipped back after a 5-4 home reverse to Team Dudley.

Kington Town, whose fine performances won them the Division Two team of the month award, have carried on their good form and a 2-0 win over Red Star Alma has taken them up to sixth in the table.

Keanu Barnett and Ricky Dyer were the Kington goalscorers.
