A COMBINATION of slack defending and missed chances saw Pegasus come unstuck against Bilston Town in West Midlands Premier Division.

The home side opened the scoring in the third minute when Liam Morris met a cross from Michael Nelson.

The goal came straight from the re-start after Pegasus had a goal disallowed for offside.

Bilston increased their lead in the 26th minute when Mark Habbershaw placed his shot past Pegasus keeper Nathan Phillips.

And it was 3-0 seven minutes in the second half after Nelson scored a fine individual goal.

Pegasus reduced the arrears shortly after the hour mark through Kiea Cowley.

Cowley then turned provider to set up Danny Hill for a goal, but Pegasus could not force an equaliser despite a strong finish to the game.

Wellington threw away a 3-1 lead to lose against Cradley, with the winner coming in the last minute.

Dave Price intercepted a back pass to put Derek Williams' side ahead in the 15th minute, before Cradley equalised.

Aaron Morgan put Wellington back in front after Andy Price saw his effort parried, before Paul Jones converted a penalty.

But Cradley responded in fine style in the second half and scored two quick-fire goals.

They then grabbed the winner with a minute to go to stun Wellington.
