Tess Langford scores in Hereford Hockey Club 2nd's 1-0 win over Cheltenham Civil Service in West Clubs’ Women’s League Severn Division One

TESS Langford struck in the second half to give Hereford 2nd’s an impressive 1-0 home win over table-topping Cheltenham Civil Service.

Langford also had an had effort saved in the opening half of last Saturday’s West Clubs’ Women’s League Severn Division One clash.

Cheltenham found it difficult to gain possession and were limited to counter-attacks which the Hereford defence dealt with well.

When Cheltenham stepped up their game, Hereford’s defence remained tight with Nic Thomas and the returning Clare Annett playing particularly well.

Goalkeeper Mel Bryans made a few saves but Hereford took the points.
