HEREFORD Ladies suffered a 4-1 West Clubs’ Women’s League Premier Two home defeat against a strong Newquay side in blustery conditions.

Although Hereford had a fair amount of possession, Newquay’s defence proved too strong and the home side had no response to their higher ranked opponents.

They now face a tough tie away at title-challengers Salisbury on Saturday.

Di Feely’s superb hat-trick helped Hereford 2nd to a comfortable 5-0 victory in Severn One at Bretforton.

Jess Preece added the other two goals as Hereford dominated from start to finish to seal a memorable home and away 5-0 double.

They now face Colwall & Malvern away on Saturday in a game that could see them move up to fourth in the Severn Division One table.
