Hereford 2nd suffered their first defeat of the season, going down 5-3 at a strong Cheltenham 3rd in the Severn Division.

First-half goals from Leigham Hayde and team debutant Ben Thomas gave Hereford hope and it was 2-2 at the break.

Cheltenham went 3-2 ahead but the visitors clawed their way back when Hayde’s struck from his second short corner strike of the match.

Hereford goalkeeper Chris Bryne was caught napping at his near post and Cheltenham wrapped up the points with a fifth goal.

Ross-on-Wye 2nd recorded a comfortable 3-0 home success over visiting Bourton & Sherborne 2nd in Hereford & Glos Division 2.
