HEREFORD virtually secured the North Division title in the West Clubs’ Women's League when a last-minute equaliser from Amy Wilkins gave them their first draw of the season at Wootton Bassett.

Second-placed Devizes lost to BAC and although they can match their points total, they would have to make-up a 30-goal difference to pose a threat.

In a well-contested match Becky Edwards put Hereford in front before Wootton hit back.

Kington hammered Chepstow 7-0 in a topof- the-table South Wales Division 2 match at Llandrindod. Bev Hyde (3), Jenny Layton (2), Suzy Chance and Ruth Alexander scored the goals.

It was a different story on Sunday when Kington spent most of their time on the backfoot as local rivals Presteigne ran out 5- 0 winners in a KBS fixture at Llandrindod.

Rita Tomkins scored either side of the break to put Presteigne in charge, and then Jess Goodwin fired in a treble to confirm their advantage.

Hereford 2nd are confirmed as champions of Davis Wood League Hereford & Gloucester Division 1 after they travelled to Lansdown 3rd and came away with a 4-2 win.

A double strike from Makuruk Smith put Hereford in the driving seat. Lansdown were back on level terms at the break. Second-half goals from Duncan Tindle and Matt Thomas sealed Hereford’s win.

Jonny Mundy bagged a late consolation goal for Hereford 1st in their 4-1 home loss to West Wilts in Premier Division 3.

Ross came away from their trip to Llan and One hand on the divisional trophy Caerphilly on the wrong end of a 2-0 scoreline in the Severn Division.

The home side scored one in each half, and on both occasions the Ross defending was poor.

Ross 2nd went down 4-2 at home to Lansdown 4th in Hereford & Gloucester 2.

Second-half goals from Richard Harbottle and Tony Faulkener halved the deficit when Lansdown looked to be heading for a big win after scoring four goals in the first.
