LEOMINSTER'S Minster College has achieved a notable doubleby winning both Herefordshire under-14 and under-16 boys' hockey competitions.
At both age groups the final was held on a home and away basis and in both finals Minnster had to overcome The Bishop of Hereford’s Bluecoat School.
In the under-14 competition, Minster won both legs by a score of 4-0 to achieve an 8-0 Minster aggregate victory.
In the under-16 competition, the first leg in Hereford led to a 3-2 Minster victory.
This suggested that the second leg would be an equally close affair, but, in the return game at Bridge Street Sports Centre, Minster romped to a 6-0 victory ensuring a 9-2 aggregate win.
