A LATE Andy Rogers goal saw Hereford dramatically beat Bristol & West 5-4 in De Cymru & The Marches 1 of the GoCrea8 Hockey League.
Hereford came from 3-1 down to win the match, which sets them up nicely for this weekend’s derby at Ross-on-Wye,
“It was a good win because they were top of the league going into the game,” said Hereford captain Kyle Drew..
“Ross have done really well since coming up and have a good team with some good youngsters
“It should be a good game.”
Ross go into the game on the back of a 1-0 win at Cheltenham Seconds, while Leominster went down 4-3 to new leaders Cardiff University Seconds.
Meanwhile, the ladies teams at Leominster, Colwall & Malvern, Presteigne and Kington all lost their respective matches.
