PRESTEIGNE opened their Marches League campaign with a 5-0 thrashing of rivals Kington.
The opening goal came when Charlie Morris placed a shot, which was deflected off a Kington stick and into the net.
The combination of Bethan Watson, Sian Bull and Sioned Price in midfield ensured the ball stayed in Presteigne's attacking half.
A fine flick towards goal from Jess Goodwin allowed Rita Tompkins to score Presteigne's second goal before Morris found Goodwin to make it 3-0.
Kington made some attacking ground after the break, but Presteigne's defence and the game was sealed when Tompkins scored again before Debbie Evans added another.
