HEREFORD Ladies 2nd's next game up on the road to an unbeaten season is the big derby clash away to Ross.

Ross, who currently sit mid table in the West Club Women’s League Severn 2 , were on the receiving end of a 6-1 mauling by Hereford last time out but captain Tess Langford isn’t counting it as a guaranteed win just yet.

“I think it’s going to be a really tough game, hopefully we will win," she said. "Derby games are always so unpredictable but if we play like we have done so far this season then we should be able to take away all the points.”

With a couple of the more senior experienced players unavailable for the game, Deri Horan believes the younger players able to cope with the expectations of being top.

“Ross will want to beat us that’s for sure," she said. "Now we are top everyone will be gunning for us but we’ve got to learn to deal with that.

"There are a couple of us more senior players that can’t play so it’s going to be an interesting one for the youngsters.

"But we’ve got strength in depth to be able to cope and continue our momentum.”
