HEREFORD fought back from 2-0 down but missed a host of chances and crashed 4-2 at Wotton-under-Edge in the Davis Wood De Cymru and The Marches One.

The city club were soon two goals adrift but replied through John Morgan before Stew Goodarzi blazed over the crossbar from three yards.

But Goodarzi made amends before half time, covering a cross from Rob Preston, who then rattled a post from a narrow angle.

Ross made a flying opening, taking the lead with their first attack when Luke Ward’s flick over the top was dispatched by Warner. Gloucester levelled but Ross regained the advantage before the break when Tom Walton converted Richard Jennison’s short corner.

Gloucester drew level for a second time before Walton put Ross 3-2 ahead and then Jonny Cross combined with Walton for Warner to round off the scoring.
