LEOMINSTER had to battle back from a two-goal deficit before marking their first home Davis Wood Conference North match with a 3-2 win over Bridgend.
Good work by Jack Rowsell set up Dave Harvey to get a goal back. Then two short corners from Harry Ellis enabled Leominster to continue their unbeaten start to the season.
Hereford’s first home match in De Cymru and Marches 1 ended in a 3-1 reverse against Wotton-under-Edge.
Wotton hit two goals in the first 20 minutes andthey made the game safe with a third goal after the break.
Hereford scored a consolation through Stew Goodarzi.
Leominster 2nd went on a goal spree in Marches 1, registering a 15-1 win at Newent 3rd.
Ben Morris scored five times and Maurice Hazleman bagged a hat-trick. There were two goals for Nicko Evans and Andy Wilson with the others coming from skipper Neil Stokes, Chris Connop and Shaun Hill.
Hereford 2nd were beaten 5-1 at Cirencester 2nd.
It was a bad day for Ross whose two sides suffered defeats, the first team 3-1 at Gloucester City 2nd in De Cymru and The Marches Two and the seconds 8-1 at home to Cleevillians 2nd in Marches Two.
