PETER Reynolds took top prize by winning Ross Golf Club's Three Clubs and a Putter stableford event.
Reynolds scored 33 points, which included making three pars on his way to posting 16 points over just six holes.
Runners-up were Barry Le Feuvre and Colin Price, who also scored 33 points.
However, they missed out on top spot on count-back.
David Beavan, an 18 handicapper, is a relative newcomer to the Ross ranks, but he made a name for himself and defied his expectations with a creditable 32 points, followed by Peter Cliffe, David Williams, club vice captain Robert Tuttilett and Scott Crooks, who all scored 31
The men's senior members now have a drawn greensomes' pairs event to look forward to on February 7 and a drawn three-man Florida Scramble medal competition on March 7.
