MEMBERS of Burghill Valley Golf Club proved that local knowledge counts as they won the Senior AM-AM.
Dave Morris, Graham Thurgood, Ken Morris and Graham Smith topped the leaderboard with 104 points.
The event was well supported, with 51 teams of four from South Wales and the West Midlands taking part.,
Another Burghill team came second with 103 points, with Ross-on-Wye finishing third.
The best visiting teams were Enville and Bewdley Pints, while Thurgood had the longest drive.
