KRIS Jones beat reigning champion Gregg Morgan to win the Joe Cooke Challenge Cup as part of Burghill Valley Golf Club's annual club championships.
Jones was four shots clear of Morgan, who has held the title for the past three years.
A total of 63 competitors embraced the favourable weather conditions, with Jones winning with a gross score of 134.
Meanwhile, former club captain John Carter won the Rabbits Cup.
Played in a stableford format, Carter claimed victory with 39 points.
Jason Davies was the winner of the 'nett' shied with a score of 140, playing off a handicap of 18.
Presentations to the winners were carried out by club captain Don Horton.
