HEREFORDSHIRE Golf Club's new captain braved the unseasonable weather to hold his drive-in competition at Wormsley.
Melvyn Lea has chosen Close House as his charity this year, a youth centre based in Hereford.
The "nearest the drive" winners were Allen Brace, Dave Caton and Andy Morrison.
More than £300 was raised for the charity.
