ANNETTE Mansie has driven in as the new lady captain at Ross Golf Club.
She hit a very good drive in front of a large number of members to get her captaincy off in great style.
A total of 75 ladies played in the competition, with some great scores returned.
The team of Katie Greenwood, Lois Price, Alison Harvey and Dinah Johnston won the event, pipping Penny Caves, Martha Norton, Julia Wade and Val Watts into second place.
Third place went to Di Honey, Chris Crane, Jackie Wheatstone and Jenny Freek.
Mansie has chosen St Michael's Hospice as her charity for the year.
The previous captain at Ross was Rosemary Williams.
