Herefordshire seniors continued their winter trophy stableford programme with a competition which attracted a field of 43 players. Excellent scores were recorded in spite of the wet conditions underfoot.

The best score of the day went to Des Keohane in the lower handicap division. He carded 45 points, playing off a handicap of 16. Kevin Baylis claimed second place, also playing off a handicap of 16, with 42 points. Phil Manns, playing off 12, scored 41 points to claim third place.

In the higher handicap division Greg Brunt, playing off a handicap of 23, came first with 44 points. In second place George Field, playing off 22, carded 42 points just edging Nigel Yarwood, playing off 20, on count back.
