WESTFIELDS manager Sean Edwards was doisappointed after his side fell to their second defeat in two days.

The allpay.park outfit lost 2-0 to Stourport Swifts, which came ont he back of a 4-1 drubbing by Coventry United.

"I was disappointed with the result on Monday because we were not aggressive in our forward play and we lost to a side that really we ought to be beating if we want to do something this season," said Edwards.

"But we had a number of key experienced players out.

"We started without James Febery, Craig Jones, Ben Hayes, Ben Miller and Anthony Robbins.

"So when you have a number of players out injured at this stage of the season, it's tough."

Both sides had chances in the first half, with Aidan Thomas going close for Westfields.

But it was Stourport who broke the deadlock in the 56th minute when Jim Hanson headed home.

The hosts increased their lead later in the game when Nicky MacPherson slotted past Kerion Blackburn.

Phil Glover came on to add potency to the Westfields attack, but Stourport defended well.
