HEREFORD Lads Club thumped Darlaston Town 6-0 today to secure promotion to the West Midlands (Regional) League Premier Division.

Tom Harding led the way with a hat-trick, with Dan Herbert, Shaun Prince and Tom Dawson also on target.

Lads Club will clinch the Division One title next week if they beat Kington Town.

Kington go into the game on the back of a 3-1 defeat at Bromyard Town and remain bottom of the division.

New signing Matt McDonald scored Kington's goal.

Westfields, meanwhile, beat Shepshed Dynamo 5-4 in a thrilling game at Butt Hole Lane.

Sam Rawlings scored the dramatic winner in the 88th minute.

Ben Hayes opened the scoring for Westfields before Shepshed equalised.

Sam Archer-Plane restored Westfields' advantage in the 25th minute before Aidan Thomas made it 3-1 after the break.

The home side reduced the deficit before scoring again to make it 3-3. 

Another Thomas goal made it 4-3 before Shepshed scored again.

However, Rawlings' goal won it for Sean Edwards' team.

In West Midlands (Regional) League Premier Division, Pegasus Juniors lost 3-1 to leaders Haughmond, while Wellington beat Cradley Town 1-0.

Meanwhile, in the HFA County League, Premier Division leaders Hinton could only draw 0-0 at Fownhope, while Westfields maintained their 100 per cent home record with a 4-1 win against Lads Club Reserves.

Kington Town Reserves are now in pole position to finish second in Division One after beating Holme Lacy Reserves 3-1, while Burghill Rangers are now top of Division Two after inflicting Kingstone Rovers' first defeat of the season.
