HEREFORD United striker Nathan Elder paid credit to Welsh Premier side TNS who beat the Reserves 5-2 in a friendly at Ludlow today.
“They are a good side and I probably didn’t give them enough credit before the game,” said Elder.
“It was 2-2 early in the second half when I came off.
“We changed it around a bit and put on some of youth team but the game got away from us.”
The match was played on the 3G surface at Ludlow Town's SBS Stadium.
“TNS are not a bad side at all. I really wanted to score today. I had a few chances – two headers – that the keeper got to."
Elder said it was the first reserve game he'd played for a couple of months.
"I think I might be a bit sore tonight," Elder said.
