WESTFIELDS slipped to a 4-2 defeat to Sporting Khalsa in the Midland Football League Premier Division today.
Sean Edwards' team - who featured new signings Jamie Molyneux and Mark Magee - went 4-0 down before pulling goals back through Ben Miller in the 65th minute and Alex Hainault in the 78th.
In the West Midlands (Regional) League Premier Division, Hereford Lads Club claimed a vital away win by beating Shifnal Town 3-2.
Goals from Liam Jones and Kiea Cowley saw Lads Club open up a 2-0 lead before Shifnal scored twice to level.
James Fennessy then restored Lads Club's advantage before goalkeeper Steven Bell saved a last-minute penalty.
However, both Wellington and Pegasus Juniors lost.
Wellington went down 4-2 at Tividale; Luke Griffiths and Paul Jones (penalty) grabbing their goals, while Pegasus lost 3-1 at home to Cradley Town.
Sam Ameko scored for Pegasus.
In Division One, Kington Town claimed a vital 3-0 away win at Wyrley, while Bromyard Town beat Allscott 2-1.
Elsewhere, Bartestree continued their fine form with a 3-0 win over Leamington Hibernian in Midland League Division Three, while Ewyas Harold are the new HFA County League Premier Division leaders after thrashing Holme Lacy 5-0.
Hinton are out of the HFA County Challenge Cup though after losing 4-2 at home to Tenbury United.
