WESTFIELDS claimed back-to-back wins yesterday thanks to an excellent 4-2 win at Rocester.

Two goals in four minutes from Aidan Thomas and Kingsford Adjei secured the victory for Sean Edwards' side, which renews hope that they could finish in the runners-up spot in the Midland Football League Premier Division.

Ashleigh Lynch opened the scoring for Rocester in the 18th minute before Ben Hayes netted for the second successive week to equalise.

Tom Brown restored Rocester's advantage in the 36th minute, but Richard Greaves made it 2-2 on the hour mark.

Thomas put Westfields ahead for the first time int he 75th minute before substitute Adjei sealed the win four minutes later.

Westfields will face Rocester again next week looking for another three points.
