HEREFORD manager Pete Beadle said he wouldn't have minded playing tonight's game at Biggleswade Town.
The Evo-Stik South fixture was postponed this morning due to a waterlogged pitch.
If it had gone ahead and the Bulls had won, then Beadle's side would have gone top of the table.
A flu epidemic ripped through the Hereford squad last week, meaning that many players were unavailable for Saturday's game at Dorchester.
But Beadle said everyone apart from Mike McGrath was fit for tonight.
"We were ready for tonight because everyone was back, but at least it now gives everyone a few more days to regain their full health," said Beadle.
"It's not ideal because we want to keep playing games, but we can't be too fussy.
"There was rain forecast between 7am to 11am ands then again 4pm to 6pm and I understand they had a downpour overnight.
"But it gives us the night off and everyone will back in training on Thursday ready for Saturday."
Following a run of away games, Hereford have a home match this Saturday when they take on Banbury United before travelling to second-placed Kings' Lynn Town next Tuesday.
