CAPTAIN Phil Glover scored an 89th minute equaliser as Westfields drew 3-3 with Bromsgrove Sporting in a dramatic Midland Football League Premier Division match tonight.

It looked like Westfields were going to lose against their high-flying opponents until Glover struck with a late header.

Bromsgrove led three times in the match, taking the lead for the first time through Sean Brain in the 20th minute.

Matt Sysum equalised just before half time before Jason Cowley restored Bromsgrove's advantage in the 52nd minute.

Mark Magee, who has been in fine goalscoring form for Westfields recently, made it 2-2 with 12 minutes remaining before Bromsgrove went back in front through Connor Deards just two minutes later.

However, Westfields snatched a point thanks to Glover, with the attendance being 202.

Westfields remain in 12th position in the division, but still have plenty of games in hand.

They are on the road this Saturday when they make the long trip to Heanor Town.
