HEREFORD FC striker Pablo Haysham says the Bulls players have had to sacrifice a lot in order to gain back-to-back promotions.

Haysham scored a stunning goal against Salisbury last week that helped the Bulls be crowned Southern League Division One South & West champions.

“People backed us from the start and they said we should walk away with it, but it’s easy to say that, it’s different to do it the way we have," said Haysham.

“It wasn’t easy though, everyone has worked hard for it and sacrificed a lot.

“And that is the reward for it."

Haysham added that dealing with the fans' expectation has become the norm for the Edgar Street club.

"It doesn't feel like pressure any more," he said.

"We work hard and we're doing alright so far.

"Next season will be a new challenge and will be tough again.

"But we've got good players here and I'm sure they're ready to step up.

"There's players with great capability and could be playing at another level or even further.

"It will be a challenge and we will look to enjoy it."
