LEADING Hereford scorer John Mills may miss out facing his former team today.

The Bulls hot-shot had to come off near the end of last Saturday’s match against Swindon Supermarine with a hamstring injury having helped his side to a 2-0 win.

Speaking earlier this week, Hereford manager Pete Beadle said the injury is not as serious as first feared, but he was a doubt for the game.

“With hamstring injuries, you never know how bad it is, but even with a tweak, you’re talking about being seven to 10 days out, so he is a doubt for Saturday,” said Beadle.

“But I’m sure he would want to play being it’s against his former club.”

Beadle says form goes out of the window when teams face Hereford and he is expecting a tough match.

“They have had some good results, so like every game, we will need to prepare right,” he said.

Hereford go into the game 17 points clear at the top of Evo-Stik Southern League Division One South & West.

Second placed Tiverton - who lost 5-2 at Slimbridge on Wednesday - host North Leigh, while Taunton, who are third, go to Winchester.
