THIS time next week, Hereford FC will be playing at Wembley in the FA Vase Final.

No one could have envisage that happening at the start of the season when the aim was to just try and get out of the Midland Football League Premier Division.

Yesterday, the club held a community day at their Wembley Shop on the Old Market, with hundreds of people checking out the latest merchandise, posing with photographs with the players, having their face painted and signing messages of support.

Throughout the week, the Hereford Times will be bringing you interviews with the players and management as well as views from fans from all corners of the world. Make sure you pick up your copy of this week's paper on Thursday because there will be an eight-page preview supplement as the countdown to Wembley truly begins.
