THE Midland Football League have confirmed that Hereford FC's away match will be played on April 30 and not May 7.

It was announced last night that the league would be extended by a week due to more games being postponed and all fixtures scheduled for April 30 would be moved to May 7.

However, Shepshed have already made a lot of arrangements for the match to take place on April 30, with a possible away following of up to 2,000 expected.

Midland Football League compliance director Gary Foxall confirmed to the Hereford Times this morning that the match will now definitely be played on April 30.

"All fixtures in the Premier Division involving teams at the top of the table who have applied for promotion - Hereford, Alvechurch, Sporting Khalsa and Heanor - have to be completed by April 30," said Foxall.

Teams fighting relegation will also play their last games on April 30; however this could change if there any more postponements, as long as it has no bearing on any issues in the division.
