WESTFIELDS gained an excellent 2-0 win against Sporting Khalsa tonight to maintain their strong start in the Midland League, but Pegasus Juniors went down to a 5-0 defeat to Malvern Town.
Richard Greaves and Jamie Molyneux netted for Westfields, who are in second place from their opening two games with a 100 per cent win ratio.
Meanwhile, Pegasus slumped to their third defeat out of four against a strong Malvern side in West Midlands (Regional) League Premier Division.
Lewis Platt, Dave Reynolds, Luke Corbett, Reece King and Paul Edwards scored for Malvern.
