WELLINGTON rounded off their home campaign with an excellent 4-1 win against Willenhall Town in West Midlands (Regional) League Premier Division, but Pegasus Juniors finished with a 2-1 defeat at Wellington Amateurs.

Wellington started like a train in their match, going 2-0 up after just six minutes thanks to goals from Andy Price and Matt Williams.

It was 3-0 by the half-hour mark; Williams again scoring, before Josh Hunt got on the mark five minutes before half-time.

Willenhall pulled a goal back in the 70th minute, but it was merely a consolation.

Hereford Under-18 player Sam Oxley scored for Pegasus, but it was not enough in their game at lowly Wellington Amateurs.

Oxley equalised in the 31st minute after Jamie Bloor put the home side ahead.

Anthony Reman scored the winner for Wellington Amateurs four minutes from time. The loss means Pegasus are highly unlikely to be eligible to play in next season's FA Cup.

As expected, Bromyard Town withdrew from their match against Ellesmere Rangers.
