FOUR goals from Sam Pearson helped Pegasus Juniors thrash Willenhall Town 6-1 in West Midlands (Regional) League Premier Division.

Pearson was on fire for James Edmonds’ side and opened the scoring after 10 minutes after being set up by Jake Robinson.

Pegasus then doubled their advantage 11 minutes later.

This time is was Pearson the provider and he rolled the ball to Robinson to fire home.

And it was 3-0 when Pearson drove a shot low past Holden after being set up by Cory Hyde.

Willenhall did almost get on the scoresheet shortly before half-time, but Jason Hewitt's effort rattled against the crossbar.

Pegasus had chances to increase their advantage after the break.

Hyde saw his shot tipped over the bar before Pearson's effort was deflected behind.

But the home did make it 4-0 when Willenhall defender Andy Lowe deflected Luke Griffiths' cross into his own net.

Pearson then completed his hat-trick in the 73rd minute before he scored again six minutes later.

Willenhall did get a consolation goal through Shaquille Dhadwal 10 minutes from time.

It was also a good day for Wellington, who beat Smethwick Rangers 3-0.

Andy Price opened the scoring after 20 minutes thanks to a powerful shot before Cris Mancui made some good stops for Wellington.

The villagers went further ahead after the break when Will Perkins' free kick found the corner of the net before another set-piece was headed home by Price.

Bromyard Town lost 5-2 to Malvern Town.
