Pegasus Juniors 4 Aston 0
PEGASUS earned an away tie with Midlands League Premier Division club Brocton after comfortably disposing of Aston in their FA Vase first-round tie.
The visitors, who top Division Two of the Midlands League, kept in touch until conceding a second goal in the 69th minute, from which point Juniors pulled away.
The home side went in front after just nine minutes when Jack Lewis launched a free-kick from 25 yards into the top corner of the net.
Sam Pearson headed a Ben Price centre on to the roof of the net and Aston keeper Ragbhan Ali pulled off a fine save to deny Keith Jones as Juniors had the better of the first-half action.
After the break, Pegasus continued to have the better of the chances but it was not until 21 minutes from time when Cowley seized on a loose ball to shoot past Ali.
Ten minutes later, Pearson powered down the right and pulled the ball back for Kane Kahaki to net with a fierce shot.
Pegasus keeper Nathan Phillips did well to prevent Casey Roberts from bagging a consolation goal before Julio De Mata wrapped things up in stoppage time, steering the ball home after Ali had blocked a Pearson shot.
Pegasus now travel to Brocton for their second round on November 22 while Westfields will entertain St Andrews who are currently top of the East Midlands Counties League.
