Leominster game off

Leominster Town get "time out" this weekend from their tough start to the  season.

The Briarwood Boys were on the road to Stone this Saturday, but the game has been postponed.

Town were going into the game off a run of three straight defeats that saw them ship 16 goals.

Currently lying 15th in the 18-team West Midlands Regional League Division 1, Town have just one point from four games and a goal difference of minus 11.

Two of Town's rivals at the lower end of the table do get to play.

Wolverhampton United, in 16th place with no points from three games and a minus 8 goal difference, are away to Haughmond on Saturday.

Blackheath Town, 18th with no points from three games and a minus 11 goal difference - host high-flying Smethwick AFC on Tuesday.
