Ledbury Town leave it late in 1-1 home draw with Hereford Lads Club

LEDBURY left it late to claim their second successive draw on their return to the West Midlands League Division Two.

With just seconds remaining, Tom Boyle struck to give the New Street club a welcome point.

Lads Club had rather the better of early period with efforts from Danny Moon and Mike Olive.

After 20 minutes a counter-attack by Kalum Wildig meant Steve Dixon was able to score from the corner of the 18-yard box to give the visitors the early advantage.

Neil Gardiner and Boyle tried hard to get Town back on level terms but only good home defending prevented the visitors from building on their lead.

But, as time ran out, Boyle sent the home crowd home happy with a well-deserved strike from 12 yards.

Bartestree suiffered their first home defeat in Division Two when they went down 5-0 to visiting Gornal Reserves.
