Leominster Town work with Earl Mortimer College on new stand

WITH the new season just days away, Leominster Town are making a stand.

Town take the same DIY approach to developing its Briarwood ground as they do to producing players.

That’s how the old bike sheds at Leominster’s Earl Mortimer College got a new lease of life.

Both sheds are now in place at Briarwood as stands in time for Town’s season to kickoff at home to Shenstone Pathfinders this Saturday.

The sheds came free of charge and the club’s ground staff put them into place.

In turn, the college can have Briarwood available for big games of its own.
