Hereford Lads Club under-10 girls’ win FA National Futsal finals in Birmingham

HEREFORD Lads Club under-10 girls’ have won the FA National Futsal finals.

Georgia James’ hattrick and a Ceira Wheeler strike led the Hereford team to a 4-1 win over Blackpool outfit St Anne’s in the final.

The national crown was a deserved success for manager Sarah Reed and her outstanding Lads Club team.

They have also carried off the Herefordshire league, cup and Futsal titles, among others, this season.

The Hereford team had progressed through the preliminary rounds having won the county and West Midlands regional finals.

Lads Club defeated Tottenham 3-1 in one of the most exciting games at the National event in Birmingham and went on to win their group.

Lads Club booked their place in the final after out-gunning Swindon Spitfires 3-1.
