Wayne 'Superman' Brown, now with Oxford United, is praying for Hereford United's Football League survival
FORMER Hereford United goalkeeper Wayne 'Superman' Brown is keeping his fingers crossed for the Bulls tonight.
United have a do-or-die clash against Football League relegation rivals Barnet at Underhill.
Hereford must beat Barnet to keep alive their chances of avoiding the dreaded drop.
A defeat would almost certainly send United back to non-league football.
Hereford cult hero Brown was a vital part of the United team which secured promotion to League Two six years ago.
The keeper, now with Oxford United, was clattered in the dying minutes of Hereford's thrilling Conference play-off final victory over Halifax Town at the Walkers Stadium.
However, Brown picked himself up and carried on as Hereford won 3-2.
He said: "All the best for Hereford United tonight. I will be devastated if the guys go down especially after we worked so hard to win two promotions. I feel for the Bulls' fans big time."
