Rusling strikes twice but Leominster Town beaten in West Midlands League

Leominster Town 2 Hanwood United 6.

ALTHOUGH skipper Mark Rusling’s goals were all they had to show for a tough afternoon against the West Midlands League Division 1’s second-placed side, Leominster could take some hope for the future.

Under-strength Town played three 16-year-olds in the second half and Keanu Barnett, Jake Bevan and Tristan Stocker showed why they were ready to step up from youth football, helping the Briarwood Boys hold the score down after a 4-0 first half rout.
